Is it cabin fever? Lately the blogosphere is rife with inspiration lists, and it seems fitting that the nearness of spring is bringing inspiration and stimulation after a long, dreary winter. Here’s what currently has me sartorially captivated…

I’ve been fascinated with Diana Vreeland for years (I love poring over Allure), and I was finally able to see this most recent documentary about her incredible life. I agree about thrifting first! I have been loving all the leather dresses currently available and have kept that inspiration in the back of my mind for some months now. I finally stumbled upon the leather dress below for $6.99 at Goodwill; with some alterations, it’s just what I was looking for. I’m so glad I kept searching the thrifts instead of caving and paying retail.
